Am Dienstag (08.03.), 18:15-19:45 im Raum 01-U121 stellen sich im Rahmen der HSG Gründergarage zwei sehr spannenden Technologieunternehmen vor und laden zum Diskurs in einer Kleingruppe ein.

Two venturelab-Startups in an attractive double yoke: Malcisbo and nanotion will stop at the “Gründergarage” of University of St.Gallen on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 to speak about their own company founding process. An ideal event to get in touch and sniff venture experience. The two successful startups und prize winners have developed innaovative vaccines and an analysis device for nanoparticles, respectively.” ref

Malcisbo AG commercialises the glycotarget discovery platform discovered at the ETH Zürich. It will establish new vaccination strategies for a wide variety of different pathogenic organisms, generating a constant outflow of novel vaccines for unmet needs in human and veterinary medicine e.g. helminthic infections by hookworm, heartworm, filaria or schistosoma. Nanotion Inc. was founded in June 2010 by Dr. Christopher Latkoczy and Bartjan den Hartogh. Based on a technical development in collaboration with the ETH Zurich and the eawag nanotion commercializes a technology as a service and as an analytical device to detect and characterize nanoparticles in liquid media.  The company’s aim is to provide a working technology, both to optimize industrial processes and to reduce associated risks within the daily use of thousands products with nanomaterials. – LINK
